STEP FOUR AND FIVE
I have played more with the flower adding the same colors and a mix of alizarin crimson. I didn't really know how I would manage the flower but I dropped my paintbrush by mistake and it created a form. It gave me the idea to use the tip of the brush to create the flower. That's the result.
Then I started the butterfly. First with yellow and a mix of burnt umber, Q. Sienna and Q. Gold mixing the colors on the paper. I'm not using wet onto wet this time I just paint as I go.
You can see the base coat of yellow on the butterfly. This will create a glow under the brown.
Hope you like.
