Morning sketches

Good morning everyone.

Here are a couple of morning sketches I did rapidly yesterday.  5 minutes is the maximum time I will allow for these.

When ever I paint in watercolor it's important for me to use cold press paper.  It allows the pigments to glide and mix with water creating splendid shades of color.

The paper I'm using for the sketches is flat, thin and without life.  Therefore there's no time to mix or spread the color.  Where I law the color it, it stays!   I bit like hot press paper.    Yack !

Three lovely and morning fresh works...the first one with the favorite rose color . I think you can't help creating beauty whatever paper you use. Have a nice day.
